The boundaries are approximate and should be used for general planning purposes only. WARNING - The "official" master set of VT Electric Utility Franchise maps reside in paper files at the VT Public Service Board's office in Montpelier. The master maps (1:24,000 USGS topos) and associated legal documents are the only official sources used by the Public Service Board when determining/resolving boundary disputes. ELCFRANCHISE should never be used to determine actual boundary location; the official maps and documents must be consulted instead.
