Data provided by Bruce Reid (GMNF). This data layer replaces GMNF\MAREAC. VCGI created documentation and performed minor QA/QC checks (unique IDs, no dangles, no labelerrors, projection, datum). 1) Land acquisitions depicted that were not a part of the 1987 GMNF Forest Plan map were removed. 2) Some management area boundary lines depicted on the old data layer were never "officially" adopted through a Forest Plan amendment process. These have been removed and replaced with arcs that more accuractely reflect the 1987 GMNF Forest Plan management area boundaries. 3) Added all new land acquisitions from 1987 to June 1, 1999.
