Preliminary release Storm-Day dam inundation areas digitized from various source Emergency Action Plans. These dams were prioritized for digitization as high risk dams, as defined by Vermont Emergency Management. Data depicts a limited set of dams, and some inundation areas are not completely digitized - as noted in the COMPLETE attribute.

Logical_Consistency_Report:

Scans of hard copy emergency action plans (EAP) were obtained from several sources. Vermont Agency of Natural Resources scanned, georectified and digitized inundation areas for Lake Mansfield, Lake Paran, Townshend, Silver Lake & Rutland City Reservoir dams. Vermont Emergency Management provoded the remaining scanned images. VCGI georectified these images and digitized the inundation areas. In some cases, the entire downstream portion of an inundation area was not digitized. This was due to time and budgetary constraints. In this instance, the inundation area was captured from entire EAP panels and the polygon attributed as not complete. This data is intended for planning purposes only.
