Abstract:
Sanborn Map Company furnished the collection and processing, and development of Lidar and aerial photography to support the FEMA mapping requirements for 25 stream miles of corridor totaling 11.3 sq miles on the Winooski River located in Washington Co VT. In addition , Sanborn mapped 31.7 stream miles of corridor for the Otter Creek and East Creek located in Rutland Co VT.The project area was defined using a 1200' buffer limits along either side of the stream centerline. Purpose:
The LIDAR derived data sets, including a Gridded DEM, TIN file, 2' contours and a mass point and Breaklines file to support Camp Dresser and McKee's continued development of updated Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps and flood insurance studies for the Otter Creek and Winooski Creeks watershed located in Rutland and Washington Countiues Vermont.
